Finance Manager
FULL DESCRIPTION
Hunts Engineering Ltd, is a family run Agricultural & Groundcare machinery dealer based in Warwickshire. We Supply new & used machinery, service, and parts for many well-known brands throughout the West Midlands and Warwickshire. We are main dealers for Kubota, Baroness, Campey, Husqvarna, Honda, and Suzuki.
During 2021 we were awarded the Kubota Gold award for service, this was followed up in 2023 with the prestigious Kubota Gold Plus award. To enable us to strengthen and go forward we now need more people to support our growth. Main duties will include:
- Daily allocation of receipts and payments
- Control and reconciliation of bank accounts
- Credit control
- General queries and duties
- Cashflow
- Holiday monitoring and control
- Consulting with insurance company and maintaining records
- Fixed asset control
- Analyse and report monthly figures
- Analyse and report quarterly figures to Supplier
- VAT return
- Supply payroll information to external payroll team
- Monitoring of email inboxes
- Sales ledger
- Purchase ledger
- Maintain and update employee contracts
- Prepare and submit Year-end accounts to Accountant
To be considered for this role you will require:
- Extensive accounts experience essential
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Confident and competent completing tasks such as posting journals, completing reconciliations
- Experience working with the P&L and conducting comprehensive analysis
- SAGE experience essential
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Ability to work independently
- Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom
- Ability to work to a schedule and follow instructions

Area Sales Manager

We are main dealers for Kubota, Baroness, Campey’s, Husqvarna, Honda and Suzuki.
We are a growing company with some very exciting plans for further expansion. We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven individual to join our busy Sales team. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to grow with us.
Based at our depot in Shipston On Stour, you will be required to visit Groundcare customers within your given territory, to promote all our products and services in a professional manner. A positive and helpful approach is essential to this role. From the point of enquiry, right through to delivery you will be responsible for providing great customer service and experience.
Main duties will include:
- Visiting and building relationships with new and existing customers, to showcase our products and services within your territory.
- Carry out working demonstrations competently of all our products.
- Build and maintain a strong product knowledge of our brands, attend training and familiarisation courses to be able to provide our customers with the right machinery for their requirements.
- Provide our customers with quotations and information on our products.
- Work closely with all departments to ensure our customers have an excellent experience.
- Deliver and install new and used machinery to customers, providing the correct handover training and to ensure the customers are happy with their purchase
- Attend trade shows and events throughout the year.
To be considered for this role you will require:
- (Ideally) Experienced within the Groundcare industry
- (Ideally) with Sales experience with proven success.
- A willingness to learn new things
- Drive and self motivation
- A helpful “can do attitude”.
- Excellent customer service and relationship skills
- Full UK driving licence is essential
The successful applicant will be provided with:
- Excellent salary (dependent on experience)

- Able to work as part of a team within a workshop environment and out onsite.

To be considered for this role you will require:
- Ideally served an apprenticeship in an engineering role.
- Full driving licence is essential.
