We’re pleased to welcome Maurice Parkinson, who has joined the Hunts Team as an Area Sales Manager. Maurice had a big smile on his face when he delivered his first sale – a Cub Cadet to Mr Tobias last month.
Maurice brings a wealth of experience, with deep roots in farming. Growing up on a farm and working in agriculture, he later transitioned to sales in agricultural packaging. With over 19 years as a self-employed groundcare maintenance professional, Maurice’s expertise makes him an ideal fit for Hunt’s Engineering limited.

YOUR GARDENING CALENDAR
Recycling your real Christmas tree responsibly – If you don’t have a chipper, check with your local council for details on their Christmas tree recycling service. Many set up Christmas tree drop off points or collect trees to be recycled. The trees can be mulched and used in local parks or green spaces (make sure all decorations have been removed).
Many charities will arrange for collection and disposal of your real Christmas tree for a donation. The Shakespeare Hospice run collections throughout Stratford-upon-Avon and the surrounding areas. BATTERIES HATE THE COLD JUST LIKE HUMANS DO!
Winter is now in full swing so mowers and other garden machinery will be redundant until the spring. If your machine has a battery on it, the likelihood of it being flat in the spring is high.
Batteries hate the cold the same as we do, so if you remove your battery from your machine and place it indoors away from the harsh elements its more likely to survive the winter and at worst only need a little wake up charge before putting it back on your machine in the spring.
If you do need a new battery be sure to call Dan or Lois in our parts department to get a price on a replacement.
